Black Crusade: Tome of Decay

As some of you may already know, I've been doing some artwork for Fantasy Flight Games over the past 1 1/2 years. Although Tome of Decay wasn't the first title I worked on, it was the first to be released.
So here are a few pieces I had the pleasure of creating in honour of my favourite Chaos god, Grandfather Nurgle.

Liebster Award... finally!

Well, it's been a while, but here we go now.
As far as I am aware, I've been nominated by three different bloggers: Ana of Gardens of Hecate, Stygianheart of Meandring Shade, and Questing Artificer. A big Thanks to all of you.

Here's how it works (for those who might have forgotten, or still don't know what the Liebster is):
The nominee's task is to give 11 truths about themselves, answer the 11 questions given by the person who nominated them, make 11 questions of their own and nominate another 11 blogs to spread the contagion. The purpose of this is to discover new interesting blogs and have a bit of fun. So here we go:

I. The Eleven Truths
  1. I like to collect things. Some would even go so far as to say I'm a hoarder... but it isn't true, I assure you.
  2. I'm a great procrastinator... especially when it comes to blogging.
  3. I have a lot more ideas for artworks I want to create than I can ever hope to complete in a single lifetime.
  4. The same goes for my miniature modelling and painting projects.
  5. I love books. The smell, the feeling, the look, everything about them.
  6. I also love fairy tales. Especially Grimm's and the like.
  7. The one thing that has always attracted me most to wargaming, and GW in particular, was the artwork.
  8. These days I feel more drawn towards the older style artwork from the 80's and 90's.
  9. Once again, the same goes for miniatures and games as well, although not in all cases.
  10. My fancies rotate on a regular basis. These "phases" can last days, weeks, or months.
  11. The one constant in all my gaming and hobby activities is Blood Bowl!

II. The Eleven Answers

I picked 11 questions from the 33 I was given.

Mechanicum by Graham McNeill

Would you rather be able to read minds, or be able to become invisible at will?
Become invisible at will.

Would you rather burn everything you own, or keep everything you own but never gain anything for the rest of your life?
I have thought about this one a lot. Having recently experienced the joy of acquiring new toys after my years of poverty, I have to conclude that I'd rather burn everything I own, than never gain anything new... I think.

Does the idea of humans technologically augmenting themselves worry you?
I actually find it rather exciting.

What finished piece are you most proud of?
At this point in time, Eowyn and the Nazgul.

Your desert island discs, 5 albums, what are they?
Massive Attack - Protection
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Lana Del Rey - Born to Die
Mr Gnome - Madness in Miniature
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden

What is your pet peeve?
People who show no regard whatsoever for spelling, grammar, and common curtesy, when communicating via email, online, etc.

Do you have a favourite historical period?
I find them all very exciting, but I think the Middle Ages are my favourite.

d6 or d10?
D6... for purely aesthetic reasons.

Karl Kopinski or John Blanche?
John Blanche.
