Medicae Servitor

The Medicae Servitor only got the briefest of mentions in Dan Abnett's Eisenhorn trilogy (or was it Ravenor?), but it was enough to spark my imagination and I just had to do my own take on the concept.

Additional inspiration (mainly for the leg) came from looking at this website:

    1. Thank you Kullervo.
I know what you mean, I'm also not a big fan of most "digital" look artwork. You can just tell.
It took me a while to get that watercolours and acrylics look down in Photoshop... slowly getting there. :)

    1. Ha ha, thanks Kari. Although I seriously doubt there's any danger of that. The stuff you all do is just totally awesome and inspiring.

I'm just glad I can add a little bit to it :)

  4. Really impressive.

The kind of art that makes you want to drop everything and rush to the desk to build :)

    Cheers

    1. Cheers Turska, that's very kind.
I do have plans for my own line of miniatures. Just need to consolidate all those ideas and come up with a plan of attack.

    2. If you're going to do some casts of these future miniatures, I'd be happy to buy some... Really waiting to see how all turns out. Keep on amazing us.

    3. Thanks, that's great to know. :)
I'll keep you posted, but since the only resource I can currently invest in the project is my own spare time, it's probably still a while off.

  6. The grace of asymmetry.

I also love her explosive halo, a dark Mother Theresa for a dark future.
